Professionalism

Professionalism is hard to define, but it is something that is very apparent when it is in your presence. As a graduate student in the Master of Science in Forensic Science (MSFS) program at Cedar Crest College, it has been a pleasure to be part of a dedicated research-minded institution with faculty that have extensive experience and a reputation for excellence throughout the forensic science community.

The graduate program immerses you in forensic science and pushes you to develop yourself academically through tough, science-based courses and self-directed research. I feel that I am growing as a scientist, but also as a public speaker and professional. This combination is exciting because as a forensic scientist you may be required to stand up for your scientific findings in a courtroom, and being able to express yourself professionally is incredibly important. You will be challenged to present research and scientific presentations with confidence and poise.

The Master of Science in Forensic Science program at Cedar Crest is perfect for people that not only want a career in forensics, but want to one day become a leader in the field, both scientifically and professionally.
