Taught several workshops on firearm and toolmark examination and gave over 80 presentations at scientific meetings, conferences and symposia.

Research Interests
Bullet ricochet off numerous surfaces including water; gunshot residue deposition dynamics and detection; shotgun pattern formation; determination of entry and exit bullet holes in garments; effect of acid precursors on the crystal morphology of the improvised explosive Triacetone Triperoxide.
